SMART MOVE
Mark Harty and David Wenzel have been performing together for over 30 years. Mark started off in a family act whilst David was the lead vocalist with a band. Originally working under the name Reflections and then when the act grew to a trio in the 1990’s they changed their name to Smart Move.
After many successful years in this format, which saw them headlining in numerous Summer Seasons, they eventually reverted back to the duo format. Having gained such esteem from their audiences and peers the name Smart Move remained and they have been at the top of the showbiz ladder ever since. Their shows include classic hits from The Four Seasons, Beach Boys, Earth Wind and Fire and many of the show stopping numbers from the top West End Musicals. A cabaret show that is beyond belief, second to none.
They have traveled the world extensively on most of the major Cruise Liners and on their travels they have worked with star names including The Three Degrees, The Stylistics, Mark Little, Cannon and Ball, Jim Davison to name just a few.
During the past 30 years their reputation has grown more and more and culminated in them being award Britain’s Best Harmony Duo by the coveted Variety Club of Great Britain. For many years now, Mark and Dave have been based in Benidorm, Spain and again during this time their reputation as providing the most classy and professional shows has spread to a vast number of fans both in Benidorm and here in the UK.
Mark and Dave have branched out whilst living in Spain and this saw the birth of their shows One Vision and Stand and Deliver. These shows are filling the venues in Benidorm and after many requests from their adoring fans they have decided to bring the shows over to the UK for a limited period and hopefully return to the UK at regular intervals.
